DV230-WASTE TO VALUE

Waste to Value project lead by Transform af 1994 ApS (www.rootzone.dk) was awarded by VIDA https://vidaproject.eu/newsletter/4/  and it is  funded by European union´s Horizon 2020 research and innovation program under grant agreement no 777786, with an aim to accelerate the implementation of key enabling technologies in the food sector with the ambition to reduce losses and consumption.
The project with a duration of 11 months ( 1 April 2020 – 1 February 2021) and a total budget of 200,000 Euros, brings together for international SMEs based in Denmark and Holland.
Danvan A/S (www.danvan.dk) will provide a workshop facility to set-up bio containers and the steering control system for the biofertilizer production composing process that will ensure the optimal temperature and aeration.
Agrocares (https://www.agrocares.com) will provide machinery and controls systems that will analyse soil in the green house production, before,  during, and after, the application of the fertilizers.

Cibid Group(www.cibidgroup.com) will coordinate the testing of the fertilizers in greenhouse food production.

This project focuses on testing a technology that will support bio circular economy in agriculture production, as greenhouse food production requires between 60-120 kg nutrients per hectare per year.
These are nutrients transferred to cities as food. Residues (by products) are dumped in landfills or incinerated causing loss of renewable valuable resources and environment pollution.
